MKW assists clients with domestic and international trademark matters. MKW also counsels clients in selecting and evaluating proposed marks by conducting and analyzing screening searches and in-depth searches of federal, state and common law databases, including Internet, domain name and social media uses. We help clients register their marks both domestically, with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and internationally, through the Madrid Protocol, including, when necessary, by working with our network of foreign associates.
We counsel clients regarding third-party applications for similar marks, from filing letters of protests to pursuing and defending oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
MKW also works with clients on issues relating to trademark licensing, assignments, co-existence agreements, consent agreements, and sales and purchases of trademark assets.
